Decomposing Carrot Tea Towel
After printing with a fresh carrot, then leaving it to sit on my work table for a week, the shape of the carrot evolved and shriveled, creating a more delicate and wrinkled yet flower-like impression. Even in a decaying state, the veggie showed its beauty.
Originally created with ink on paper, this veggie pattern is reproduced on a white cotton-linen. Each towel is individually sewn and includes a stitched-in loop for hanging.
25 x 20 inches
This cotton-linen blend is printed with water-based, eco-friendly inks in the USA.
Machine wash with cold or warm water on gentle/regular cycle using phosphate-free detergent. Tumble dry on a low-temperature setting. Iron on reverse side, if needed.
